So I really appreciate all of you checking in while I’ve been slacking on posts. Blog stats have remained steady all summer while I stay home and nest preparing for Baby P to arrive.
Finally this summer we are producing some edible nashi on our tree out back. There are tons of them although half get eaten by birds and little critters. That’s fine, we like to share.
I picked this one last night:
Some imperfections, but what about the inside?
Still a little funky, but when you get past that, it tasted good! Just like a nashi should taste. The flavor wasn’t as strong as some nashi you can buy in stores, but it was free! Good deal!
